Good food good service

Amazing food and atmosphere! Pictured below is the Spicy Fried Rice with Vegetables and Pork, Pad Broccoli, Mango and Sticky Rice, and Fried Bananas-- all were excellent. The location isn't where Google says it is, it's right on the water next to Bayside Marine. We will definitely be back again!!

The good: staff was friendly, location is nice. Sushi was ok.The bad: food is overpriced for what it is. Food was not very tasty in general, I got the chicken salad and the seafood platter. Fish was overcooked and chicken was bland.The worst: my mom got food poisoning, probably from the scallops since she was the only one that ate them.

(Disclaimer they serve undercooked seafood) So I'm revising my review, I had given them 5 stars before. They recently changed management and completely changed their menu. If I could give 0 stars I would. Several items were not available the night we went. Took a very long time for food to be ready. Normally I don't care if I wait a little bit as long as the food is worth it. This food was definitely not worth it. The only thing that saved the fried catfish was the cajun sauce, extremely bland without the sauce. The "stuffed" shrimp were undercooked. Even if they were fully cooked they only had been stuffed with some kind of pesto style French seasoning, no crab like we were lead to believe. NEVER GOING BACK!!A

This place just reopened 2 weeks ago. It is under new management, it has a new menu, staff, pricing, everything. Please disregard older reviews from before, as its a whole new place! The calamari is fantastic. So fresh. The sushi is PHENOMENAL. I couldnt get enough!! Try the East West roll, its not on the menu but best I have ever had. The selection is fantastic but not overwhelming. There is seafood, sushi, and Thai. A bit of each option. They do not have their liquor license quite yet so be cognizant of that. I will definitely be back and recommend it to everyone!!!

This is Fine Dining in the Northern Neck! Thai food is exclent as is the French Cuisine. My Rack of Lamb was excellent! Cudos to Noi the Owner!

Interesting place, food is very good and a varied menu. Beer and wine only. Rather plain inside but nice back bay view right on the water with deck by the marina. Sushi was great.

Absolutely amazing and delicious. While on vacation we checked out several local restaurants and this was hands down the favorite by all family members. We timed it right to finish our meal and conversation at sunset .... Really was exquisite

Trash service they don’t have good energy in this place, looks very unprofessional and unsanitary. Food was honestly disgusting. My daughter spit her burger out and she’s 2 ... it was dry and had this very weird taste , it was just nasty.... sushi was okay , to salty tho. Being from Maryland I really miss it even more with all the bad food out here

The food was spectacular. If you're not sure what to get I'd suggest the salmon. My fiancee had a thai curry and said it was the best shes had. On top of the brewery review I made this is another stop you should definitely make!

Unimpressed. We had gone before and it was just okay. The last time we went we placed a drink order for a Thai tea and a Guinness. Somehow we were served two Thai iced teas. For the price the food is merely average. They display a huge board of specials which makes you wonder how well they can really cook each and every one. The place has always been empty when we go and I can see why. Mediocre service and food at a premium price. Great presentation for the dishes though is about the only upside. I think I'd much prefer to give my money to Suki The Cuisine than return to the Lighthouse. The service there is far superior and friendly. And the food has always been great.

Good staff and a wonderful location is cut down by a badly overpriced menu. My meal, pictured below, cost $30. The crab cake was delicious, but calling 3 onion rings a side with that much white space on the plate is insulting. Management's response was to attempt selling me another crabcake. Lackluster.

Visited with my parents. Our server who I think was the owner was really friendly and helpful. There is a nice view of the marina. My food was good as well.

We drove 45 minutes to eat at The Seaside Restaurant, an amazing French/Thai place we had been to some time ago and remembered fondly, for my daughter's birthday. Sadly, when we arrived we found the restaurant closed for good. Trying to make the best of the situation, we drove a fee minutes further to The Lighthouse. Like Seaside, we had not been to The Lighthouse in over four years. As we pulled into the parking lot we saw the marquis sign, "Now serving French & Thai"! The best of both worlds; an amazing chef, an amazing host in an amazing location on the water. We had a great time and are already planning our next visit which will be much sooner than four years!If you go, leave room for dessert. All desserts are made in house, including the ice cream.

Very nice. Friendly attentive staff. Dining with attractive view of Monroe Bay and boat docks. Plenty of space. And special nights for karaoke and live bands.

Under new management and a new menu. Was a frequent visitor to the old location, and thankfully it seems we can keep visiting.Service was very good, appetizers were delicious (sushi roll, and Oysters), dinner entrees we good, not great. No seasoning on veggies, left the husband sad. My curry dish didn't have all the ingredients, but was still tasty.

Very good food, sushi was amazing, service was great, and the view is gorgeous. Waterfront indoor and outdoor seating, live music, dance floor, bar, great Bloody Mary👍.a must do when in the area.

STEER CLEAR. Ordered takeout from this place and walked in to pick it up, and no one was wearing a mask. Not the servers nor the people making the food in the kitchen. No food is worth getting a deadly virus, so I didn’t pick it up - which I feel is deserved if they are going to show no care for their customers. I recommend staying away if you value your health and that of others.

If you like Thai food this is a very good place to go and their Seafood is good also.

Very limited items were on the menu they did not have the crab dip that we wanted the wait time was not that bad but getting the food took longer the service was very slow it was our first time visiting

It’s funny because went here for the French food here since there’s not a lot of French places around, but we ended up getting Thai food. There is much more Thai options than French food on the menu btw. Overall it was really good. Their Thai ice tea tasted sweet, fantastic and refreshing. I also really enjoyed their curry. The sauce was great and it was hot and fresh. It had a lot of onions in it though. We got a great view from our seat which was by the window. The dessert was good too. Creme Brule was smaller than we thought but it was nice and soft, and not too crispy on top which is good. Their mousse was more of a chocolate cake though. The servers were very friendly. We had an enjoyable experience here after we swam in Colonial Beach. It’s worth going a little out of the way for.

Called to make sure they were open on a Friday seasonal not sure ..They said yes till 11 we arrived at 9 after a hour drive they had closed for a per say private function. Total un professional and very upset family and I drove back home by the time we got back local stuff was closed .....

This place is a hidden gem The food is delicious and presented beautifully. The service is exemplary and the views amazing. I sneak off here as often as I can even though the round trip is 100 miles. The trip is worth it.

Very attractive sushi plating and taste was phenomenal. Real crab and fresh ingredients. The staff is extremely friendly and welcoming.

Great food! The Thai food is so good and fresh. We loved the food. However...we went on their opening night and the service was not good. Seems like they should have trained their wait staff for opening night. Food matters but so does prompt and efficient service for a real dining experience. Get rid of the stained blue tablecloths, sharpen the inside up, have the napkins match, and don’t have little girls folding the napkins right by the customers. I realize kinks have to be worked out, but maybe you should have had a soft opening first to train the staff. Most customers won’t give you a second chance and that is sad because your food is so good.

This spot never disappoints. They have good food for affordable rates, there are no long waits even when they are busy.

Absolutely wonderful! Delicious Thai food with high quality ingredients. We went on a Saturday evening to watch the sunset over the water and had a full meal. We had the pineapple red curry and sweet and sour. The tofu was amazing, and the chicken was cut into thick pieces that were perfectly cooked and flavored. We also LOVED the mango and sticky rice dessert. It was a wonderful experience & the highlight of our stay in Colonial Beach. I would highly suggest this place if you would like a romantic evening out. Vegetarian and Gluten free friendly.

I wish I could have happy thoughts about this place. It’s absolutely interior as well as exterior. Service is nice and very helpful but could use some training. Food on the other hand was not so good. Me and my girlfriend got some sushi and ramen. Sushi was mediocre, and the ramen tasted worst then oodles and noodles. I was actually looking forward to trying something remotely close to the real thing as I could and was very disappointed. Lighthouse needs improvement

Walked out. Was not advertised as a thai restaurant and while I was curious about the menu and the bajillion specials on the menu....customer service was horrible. Almost non existent and after 15 mins with no acknowledgement or even drink orders.just wasn't feeling it

The fish and shrimp had good flavor. Nice to sit next to water and witness the large water birds. Negative: a bit expensive for average food. No measures In place for the pandemic.
